
Light Blue: Symbolizes the blue colour of the sea that surrounds the island country. According to the mythic legends of the island people, the Goddess of Coral, Apo Noni, emerged from these waters. In addition, it reflects the blue of the Matangi sky.
Tan: Symbolizes peace, truth, and balance. It is also the colour of the sandy beaches and seafoam found along the beautiful shores of Cebi Jubi.
Orange: Symbolizes a gentle warning not to mess with these island people who can be quite ferocious if attacked. It is also the colour of the evening sunset.
Dark Blue: Represents harmony with nature and is also the color of one of the island's most colorful inhabitants, the Gizney Crab.
Spade: The spade represents a leaf of the "cosmic" tree, and thus life, intellect, and action. It is also symbolic of the island peoples favorite pastime, the game of "spades."
