honoria in ciberspazio, the first Internet opera

honoria in ciberspazio, conceived by honoria in 1994, is the first opera written about life online. Under honoria's facilitation, the libretto was written by over sixty online personae. The music is written and conducted by George Oldziey. In this opera 4 lonely humans connect to the Internet longing to meet their perfect loves. Ideal lovers are born from their words and 4 love stories evolve. The score and libretto are under revision for staging.

EMMA Electronic Museum of Mail Art

The Electronic Museum of Mail Art, collaboratively designed by Chuck Welch and honoria, contains original Netshaker Online from 1995, the first cyberstamp art gallery, links to major Mail Art Web sites and chapters of honoria's 2003 doctoral research on the Effects of the Internet on the Correspondence Art Network.

October 2004 Developed lesson and taught digital art logo design in Name-the-Game after school program in five underserved Austin Middle Schools.
August 2004 Keep Austin Weird 5K Creativity Playground, Auditorium Shores, Austin. AMODA, partnering with YouthInterActive.org, created an interactive learning environment in which children used computer tablets to draw their own art transfers.
April 2004 Interactive Village, SBC Texas Round Up on the Capital grounds, Austin. In AMODA's "Seeing Into the Digital Future" booth, kids from elementary to high school created a collaborative sculpture as they learned digital photography techniques.
